NovusOne didn't start in a Silicon Valley incubator. It started in the back office of a field service operation — staring at spreadsheets, juggling phone calls, and losing money because we couldn't see our real margins.
We weren't solving for a small local shop. We were solving for nationwide execution: W2 technicians, contingent labor, vendor platforms, invoice reconciliation, SLA pressure, and the operational complexity of coordinating work across markets at scale.
We tried every platform on the market. Some were built for residential. Some felt like 2005. Some were too basic. None of them really understood what it takes to run a nationwide field operation with both employed and contingent labor. So we built NovusOne — the platform we needed but couldn't find. Every feature comes from a real operational pain point. Every workflow was designed by people who've lived it.
